Course Booking Terms & Conditions

Course Accuracy 

Booking a course is the customer’s responsibility for the accuracy of the type of training required. Therefore, we cannot be held responsible if the course cannot continue due to incorrect course selection or the wrong qualification obtained for the candidate’s or Company’s requirements. Refund or covering the cost of requalification is at the discretion of the Directors of Arko Training Ltd. Loss of earnings or any other costs incurred by the customer is not the responsibility of Arko Training Ltd. 

Course Dates & Candidate Places 

Course dates and candidate places are not guaranteed until Arko Training Ltd has received a purchase order number provided by the customer and the customer has received a booking confirmation and an invoice from Arko Training Ltd and payment is made in full prior to the course start date. 

Cancellation Policy 

Cancellations must be made in writing. A percentage cancellation charge will be incurred depending on the notice period given at the discretion of the directors of Arko Training Ltd.

21 Working Days’ Notice – 10% Cancellation Charge
8 – 20 Working Days’ Notice – 50% Cancellation Charge 

0 – 7 Working Days’ Notice – 100% Cancellation Charge 

Course Postponement 

Postponement of courses requested 20 days or less notice prior to course commencement will be dealt with as per our ‘Cancellation Policy’ terms above. No additional charges shall be applied to the postponement of courses requested 22 days or more prior to course commencement. The re- arranged course must start no later than two months from the original course start date otherwise our ‘Cancellation Policy’, on the discretion of the directors of Arko Training Ltd, maybe implemented. 

Course Abandonment 

Arko Training cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred through a course having to be abandoned through circumstances out of their control. 

Candidate Substitution 

There shall be no extra charge for a customer wishing to send another candidate to replace the original candidate. Please inform us of this change prior to the course commencing so we can insure the administration remains correct for successful completion and certification. 

Course Content 

As our awarding bodies’ courses are constantly being updated and improved, we reserve the right to alter any of our course content without prior notice. 

Candidate Minimum Age 

Please note we cannot accept any candidate below the relevant awarding bodies’ minimum age 

Medical History & Dietary Conditions 

On booking the course the customer must forward, in writing, any information that may affect the health and safety of the candidate during any training 

Alcohol and Drugs 

Candidates will not be accepted on to the course if it is believed that they are under the influence of any substance likely to affect safety of themselves or to others. 

Diversity and Equality 

Attendees must adhere to Arko Training company policy on Diversity, Equality & Inclusivity, Human Rights and the Safe-Guarding of Children and Vulnerable people. If you wish to have a copy of the policy, please request a copy from the company. 

On Site Courses - Courses held on Customer Sites 

A suitable clean room must be allocated for classroom sessions, with power points, suitable lighting, seating, desk space and floor space when practical elements are required. We accept no responsibility for any damage caused to property or equipment, although highly unlikely, during the course. Mileage charges, at the discretion of the directors of Arko Training Ltd, maybe charged. 

Certificates & Cards 

We reserve the right not to issue or apply for certification until payment is received in full. Certificates shall be sent to the person who booked the course, at the address specified at the time of booking unless otherwise advised in writing. Certificates are sent out by royal mail delivery service. Unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible for certification going missing in the post. 

Certification Requirements 

Any delay in issuing of certification provided by the awarding bodies is beyond our control, although we will endeavour to provide all certificates as soon as possible. If you require a covering letter under these circumstances, we are able to provide this upon request. We reserve the right to charge for replacement certificates for inaccurate spelling of names by the candidate. 


Invoices will be sent at the time of booking. Payment is due in full before the commencement of the course unless agreed with the directors of Arko Training. Cheques to be made out to Arko Training Ltd and posted to Arko Training Ltd 16 Moorgate Avenue Leeds LS25 7PG. Electronic payment via the internet payment to Arko Training Ltd Account no: 53243753 Sort code: 20-89-68 Bookings through Arko Training website ask for payment by PayPal, Debit or Credit card.
