Basic Life Support – C.P.R. and Defibrillator

Become a life saver!  Heart and circulatory disease claims around 200,000 lives each year. Many could have been saved if a defibrillator was made available. Automated External Defibrillators (AED’s) are now becoming more common throughout a range of public and work places. A casualty’s survival rate will dramatically increase if an AED is available and if you have appropriately qualified personnel to use it.

Why attend this Basic Life Support course?

A cardiac arrest can happen to anyone, at any time. When it does, every second matters.

Defibrillators (AEDs) are proven to save lives. They are an invaluable addition to health and safety provision for your employees.

If you already have a defibrillator, it’s important that your employees know where it is and are comfortable and confident to use it.

Defibrillators are simple to operate and can be used by anyone, with no prior training. However, training in defibrillator sue will make sure you are familiar with the device, so you are able to act quickly and confidently when it really counts. Crucially, you will also learn how to do CPR – a critical part of the chain of survival.

You can join a scheduled course, or book one of our trainers to come to your premises to train a group.
