Our Safeguarding Distance Learning Course is a program designed to educate and train individuals on the importance and methods of safeguarding children and vulnerable adults. The course is delivered entirely online, providing participants with convenient and flexible learning opportunities. It covers various topics such as recognizing signs of abuse, responding to disclosures, and promoting a safe and inclusive environment. The course is suitable for professionals working in healthcare, education, or social services, as well as volunteers and individuals concerned with safeguarding. By completing the program, participants will gain vital skills and knowledge to protect vulnerable individuals from harm.
The training Course is:
Made up of a half day Virtual Classroom and an assessment.
Age restrictions For the Course
Learners must be a minimum of 18 years of age upon course commencement.
Syllabus
A range of subjects are covered including:
- Safeguarding legislation and guidance
- Roles and responsibilities
- Abuse and Neglect
- Identifying concerns and disclosure
- Making judgments
- Reporting safeguarding concern.
Course Certification
FAA Level 1 Award in Awareness of Safeguarding and Protection of Children, Young People and Vulnerable Adults will be issued by The FAA, subject to successfully completing the course and assessment.
