Course Duration:
Safeguarding and protecting children, young people, or vulnerable adults Level 3 distance learning solution allows for a blend of independent study and guided research by the learner in preparation for a half day virtual classroom session. The comparative classroom only course takes 2 days. The learner will be provided with learning resources and guidance for personal research to enable efficient independent learning.
Safeguarding Course Age Restriction:
Learners must be a minimum of 18 years of age upon course commencement, due to the potentially disturbing nature of some course subject matter.

The course is suitable for those taking on a safeguarding role, those wanting to expand their knowledge on the subject, those working with children, young people, and adults at risk. It provides information on protection measures in education environments, schools, care settings, and residential care homes. Further information includes the support agencies, and bodies involved in regarding reported issues, and the support available to any concerned individual.

Qualification Assessment
The learner has a maximum of 60 minutes to complete the assessment.
