This Fire Awareness training course provides adherence to the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005,
Our Fire Safety Training Course is aimed at all staff, particularly new starters in any workplace, where a basic understanding of fire safety is required.
Candidates will learn a variety of fire safety topics, including legal responsibilities, evacuation plans and how to prevent fires.

- Possible causes of fire in the workplace
- Duties and responsibilities of employers and employees
- In the event of a fire
- Fire risk management
- Controlling fire risks
- Safe operating procedures for portable firefighting equipment
- Fire equipment checks
How long will it take?
To complete this qualification, learners should expect to undertake 4 hours of guided learning.
Assessment and Certification
This qualification is assessed by a multiple-choice examination.
This training is valid for life, however we recommend that candidates retake this course every 3 years.
Who needs fire awareness training?
The fire safety order requires all employees to receive fire safety training, and our course is designed to help you fulfil this requirement. It is suitable for anyone at any level, whatever industry you work in, If you are an employee, manager full-time or part-time staff.
If you are in charge of fire risk assessments and overseeing evacuation procedures, such as a fire warden, you will need to receive a higher level of training than this course provides, as well as practical training in using firefighting equipment.
